The Ripple Home
Our team partnered with a local production builder, S&A Homes, in order to create an affordable, Zero Energy Ready Home, that is highly constructable and meets the requirements of production builders. In order to achieve this, our team began by analyzing two of S&A Homes’ top selling home models, the Newport and the Dartmouth. We worked closely with S&A Homes to redesign these models and combine their strengths into one affordable net-zero home that can be placed in any orientation, the Ripple Home. Our intent is that the RIpple Home becomes a sort of new American home, a cost-effective, flexible space where families live and grow up in. S&A Homes will be able to offer this design to customers across their entire building region, thus creating a ripple in the housing market. By working alongside a real production builder and experienced industry advisors, our team produced a feasible, high performance home that is accessible to home buyers throughout the South and Central Pennsylvania Region.
